Our tiles can handle a 15,000 lbs vehicle! You can safely park RVs, commercial trucks, forklifts, and heavy equipment. Weight is evenly distributed on these premium Gorilla Grids so there’s no cracking or dipping.

Heavy concentrated weight in a small section will cause flexing or denting over time. This can easily be prevented by placing a buffer, like a metal plate or small piece of wood, to evenly distribute the weight.

Heavy-weight items are no problem! If you’re using jack stands for long periods of time, we recommend supporting it with a small piece of wood or metal for even dispersion of weight.

Absolutely! Our tiles are resistant to chemicals with self-draining and self-cleaning properties preventing moisture build-up over the winter season.

Our tiles are made with high-quality  polypropylene that naturally expand and contract with shifting temperatures. We recommend spacing the tiles 1/2″ away from garage walls or any conductors to heat. This allows for air to move freely throughout freezing winters or sizzling summers.

Not at all! Polypropylene is resistant to chemicals and any spills can be cleaned with a rag with mild degreaser.

The 0.7″ thickness of our tiles and premium design help with sound absorption compared to standard tiles. Our clients who prefer even quieter acoustics lay thin fabric over the tiles. Another option is have perforated underlayment beneath your tiles.

Our primary Gorilla Grids® is designed for rolling anything with ease! While it is not a complete flat top, the tile structure facilitates air movement for drainage and airflow.

Absolutely! There are two options to do this:

1. Directly above: Place the lift post plates on top of the tiles.
2. Bolted to concrete: Anchor the lift directly to the concrete floor and cut the tiles to fit around the posts.

We recommend bolting to concrete as a long-term solution because you will have a secure anchor without a plastic spacer in between. Plus, you are easily able to swap the tiles if you move!

Divide your total square footage by 1.72 (area of one tile). If you aren’t sure, you can contact us with your dimensions and we will do the math for you!

The tiles fit together like jigsaw puzzles, so for a basic layout- there’s no need for extra tools. However, if you’d like a wall-to-wall fit, you can use any power saw to shape your tiles.

These are perfect for outdoor use. Our tiles are built to withstand sun exposure and shifting seasons. They are even slip-resistant when wet!

Our tiles are engineered to stay in place when connected and functions on both indoor and outdoor floors. While slip-resistant, we do recommend managing ice accumulation during cold seasons.

You can replace one singular tile with no extra hassle and de-installing. Simply pull up a single seam and you are set!

The sound doesn’t last for long! Newly installed tiles settle into place as weight is distributed- think of it as locking into place!

We accept open-box returns as long as they are within the 30-day return window.
